For those of you with children, you will no doubt have been reminded already that it is only 24 sleeps until Christmas Day!
But it is also only 61 days until 31 January 2015, which means that if you have to file a self assessment tax return, then you need to get cracking. Not as exciting as Christmas, I know, but still a necessary evil.
If you use an agent to file your tax return on your behalf, do have a heart during this advent season, a season of goodwill to all men, including accountants! Please don’t leave it until the very last minute to give them your paperwork. Because remember that maybe all their other clients will too, which means a very hectic Christmas and New Year for your agent.
