You will remember that the Chancellor gave much needed support to businesses in the hospitality industry by cutting the VAT rate to 5% in July 2020. This lower rate will come to an end on 30th September and from 1st October 2021 until 31st March 2022, the VAT rate for businesses in hospitality will change to 12.5%.
Please remember to update your systems and sales invoices to reflect this change.
