Doesn’t time fly when you are having fun! … We are now half way through the tax year and, what is more worrying, one of my children showed me a post on facebook yesterday advising it was only ten more fridays until Christmas!

For most people, Christmas is a wonderful time of the year, and it is for me too.  But no sooner have the holiday festivities finished, than accountants enter into their busiest month of the year – January!

So if you have not already done so, please start pulling together your paperwork for your self assessment tax return, to pass to your accountant as soon as possible.

If up until this point you have been doing it yourself, then bravo to you.  If you are worried you may be missing out on some tips and advice to ensure you don’t pay a penny more tax than necessary, then feel free to give us a ring.

For those running payroll, no doubt you will have all remembered that the national minimum wage increased to £6.70 per hour from 1st October 2015 for those aged 21 and over so.
