Jun

We cannot believe it is June already!  The Brexit vote looms large and we cannot help but wonder what would happen with the country’s financial situation if we leave the EU.

Well, NATA cannot help with the country’s finances but we can help with yours!

For those who receive tax credits, you need to complete your annual tax credits review, you will need to get the paperwork to your accountant as soon as possible.

Without wanting to cause widespread panic, we also wanted to draw your attention to the fact that from April 2018 HMRC want self employed people to report their income every three months, rather than just once a year, and they also want everyone to use digital software, so those of you using manual records or excel spreadsheets will need to start thinking about using software to keep your records.

If you wish to discuss these issues, or need advice on any taxation matters, please feel free to ring us on 01670 528416.  Our offices are closed during the last week in June for annual leave but we open again on 4th July 2016.

Enjoy your month – and long may the sunshine continue!
