Aug

Back from our holidays and raring to go!  Many thanks to those of our clients who have got their paperwork in to us whilst we were away.

We are now six months in to the tax year and despite the Brexit vote, things at the moment seem to be continuing in the same vein as before, at least for most companies who do not have any imports and exports.  Whether this will continue, only time will tell!  We also wait with baited breathe to see what the new Chancellor’s Autumn statement has in store.

We hope that everyone who had to, has managed to pay their second payment on account for self assessment tax, which was due by 31 July 2016.  If you are struggling to pay it, do contact HMRC to try and arrange a time to pay agreement.

We would encourage everyone who has to file a tax return to get their paperwork in as soon as possible so that they can budget for any balancing payment due on 31 January 2017 and any payments on account that may also be due.  The sooner the tax returns are filed, the sooner you can plan to save the tax you owe!

As always, we would welcome anyone to contact us if they wish to get more information or advice on any accountancy or tax related issues.

Enjoy the rest of the summer!
